Analysys International: Baidu’s Share Kept Growth in China Internet Search Market in 2011Q3

Accroding to the Seasonal Survey of China Internet Search Market in Q3, 2011, released by EnfoDesk, Analysys International, Baidu occupied 78.2% market share in Q3, 2011, followed by Google China with its market share representing 17.2%.

 

 

 

Analysys international holds that China internet search revenue market remained a stable competition layout in Q3, 2011.

 

Baidu's market share increased further in Q3, 2011. Main contributors to this growth came from the increase of ads budget with ever growing traffic. On the other hand, the improvement of Phoenix platform enhanced users' experience and increased advertisers' investment. At the same time, Baidu offered services for internet layout related to traditional off-line services and made the ads form fully developed. Its improvement on precise matching services won more clients' recognition, which laid a good foundation for its growth in future. The drop of Google China entered into a stable phase. In Q3, its market share dropped by 17.8%.

Sogou's revenue kept a rapid growth. Advertisers thought high of synergistic effects resulted from the layout of Sogou's 3 major services. Synergistic services would bring about more profit. Soso emphasized synergistic effects of online search and community search, plus its large user group from Tencent, it further cultivated user's habit to increase users' fidelity.
