Accroding to the Seasonal Survey of China Internet Search Market in Q3, 2011, released by EnfoDesk, Analysys International, Baidu occupied 78.2% market share in Q3, 2011, followed by Google China with its market share representing 17.2%.

Baidu's market share increased further in Q3, 2011. Main contributors to this growth came from the increase of ads budget with ever growing traffic. Soso emphasized synergistic effects of online search and community search, plus its large user group from Tencent, it further cultivated user's habit to increase users' fidelity.
